Are your school officials prepared to comply with all facets of Title IX (including sexual harassment and assault)? It’s not just about ensuring that there are enough men’s and women’s sports teams to balance play for student athletes. Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in all educational institutions that receive federal financial assistance.

To help school officials reach a better understanding of their Title IX responsibilities this workshop will address the following topics:

Learn various aspects of the Registry of Educational Personnel (REP) data submission process from obtaining access to final submission steps. We will cover topics such as: how to obtain a MEIS account; how to obtain access to the REP; where to find help and resource information; provide information about highly qualified status and educator effectiveness; how to report contracted employees and noninstructional staff members; and how to improve data quality.
