MDE Assessment & Accountability Conference - Lansing November 19-20, 2007 Location: Lansing Center, Lansing Learn basics of the Michigan Department of Education's K-12 assessment and accountability functions (including Adequate Yearly Progress and Education YES!) and how they interact. Technology In Education November 20, 2007 Location: MELG Building, Lansing, 8:45 am – 4 pm This covers a basic overview of technology in schools. It covers the following topics: makeup of the technology team, managing technology in the classroom, training, working with consultants and vendors, business office technology, cost of ownership and outsourcing your technology services. Systems–HVAC, Electrical And Technology November 28, 2007 Location: MELG Building, Lansing, 12:45 pm – 4:00 pm This is an overview of different systems and their components, and the working relationship between the different systems. Financial Analysis November 28, 2007 Location: MELG Building, Lansing, 8:45 am – 12 noon This covers methods of performing a financial analysis of options and life-cycle costing.
