MI Electronic Grants System & MDE Cash Management System February 21, 8:45 am - 12:00 pm Location: LCC West, Lansing The Grants Cash Management Reporting System (GCMRS) has been replaced by a newly developed application called the Cash Management System (CMS). This system allows recipients of federal and state grants (excluding State School Aid) to report expenditures and request cash via the Internet. In October 2006, four special education grants were initially transitioned to the CMS. The CMS has successfully processed funds request and payment authorization for those grants with no significant issues. This session will review the MEGS and CMS systems, look at the different data fields and provide direction to avoid errors in submissions.
