| MIEM Seeking Applicants for Position of Certification Administrator |

The Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) is seeking qualified candidates to work for MSBO and for the Michigan Institute of Educational Management (MIEM) a non-profit corporation that focuses on professional development and training of school employees that is owned by MSBO in partnership with the Michigan Association of School Administrators (MASA). Position Description: This person would be the main contact for the MSBO Voluntary Certification Program and the School Administrative Professional Certification (SAPC) and report to the Director of Certification. This position will also work closely with the Director of Marketing Communications to ensure all marketing communications strategies and materials are consistent and focused for both certification programs. Requirements: This position requires an Associates Degree with equivalent experience or a Bachelors Degree is preferred. Work experience with marketing and graphic design skills desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Office, database, InDesign, or other graphic design products. Position will begin July 1, 2006. Resumes are due by Monday, May 15, 2006. MIEM is now planning its training sessions for the 2006-07 school year and would like to be able to offer the most useful programs for enhancing your technology knowledge. To that end, we have been working with PTD on a small scale basis, offering classes as people have approached us. Please let us know what classes will fit into your budget, and meet your needs during the 2006-07 school year. We need your input by May 1, 2006.
