Menu Planning and Nutrition Integrity March 18, 12:45 - 4:00 pm Location: MELG Building, Lansing Discuss fundamentals of school menu planning by using the 2000 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Nutrition integrity standards and USDA child nutrition meal pattern requirements will also be covered. Learn the advantages and disadvantages of different types of menus and menu planning systems that are acceptable to the federal government. Current resources will be reviewed to assist in menu development.
