This is a FREE workshop. Interested schools/districts are encouraged to register three individuals to form leadership teams composed of energy managers, facility maintenance personnel, business managers, curriculum directors, principals, and teachers. Common sessions will include presentations designed to motivate and guide participants on how to plan and implement energy education and mangement programs.

MIEM Seeking Applicants for Position of Certification Administrator


The Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) is seeking qualified candidates to work for MSBO and for the Michigan Institute of Educational Management (MIEM) a non-profit corporation that focuses on professional development and training of school employees that is owned by MSBO in partnership with the Michigan Association of School Administrators (MASA).

Position Description: This person would be the main contact for the MSBO Voluntary Certification Program and the School Administrative Professional Certification (SAPC) and report to the Director of Certification. This position will also work closely with the Director of Marketing Communications to ensure all marketing communications strategies and materials are consistent and focused for both certification programs.

Requirements: This position requires an Associates Degree with equivalent experience or a Bachelors Degree is preferred. Work experience with marketing and graphic design skills desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Office, database, InDesign, or other graphic design products.
