Pre-registration is now closed for this event. You can still register on site.

Overnight Accommodations: Register early to take advantage of these special conference rates per room for overnights plus current 6% sales & 8% lodging tax:
$128 single/double, $138 triple, $148 quad. Reservations received by the hotel after October 23, 2011 will be accepted on a space available basis at conference rate and may be subject to regular hotel rates. Hotel registration is made directly with the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel at 1-800-253-3590. Identify MIEM as the group you are with so you will receive the special rates.

Holiday Fun Event:  Join us for 3 short presentations on decorating for the holidays; baking for the holidays and making bows for your holiday gifts. This will be held at the Amway Grand following the Networking Reception.  Room to be announced. Time 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Live Jazz Night at The B.O.B. with Mark Kahny and Tony Reynold:   6:00 p.m.

Annual Outdoor Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Ford Museum:  7:00 p.m.
Join in the fun as the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum lights up the Grand with its annual holiday display of trees and twinkling lights. A sing-along, refreshments, and free admission will be included in the festivities. This is an outdoor event.

Grand Rapids Wine, Beer & Food Festival at DeVos Place

This is such a FUN event that you would really enjoy. A plus is you could eat in the show instead of going out for dinner if you wanted because there are several food stations.

Opening keynote speaker: David Eich

David's interactive presentation will share several vignettes from the interviews David conducted with those families nominated by National state Teachers of the Year.

 

 

 

Closing keynote speaker: Sister Sue

Sister Sue's keynote will highlight life’s ups and downs and in betweens. It will include coping with hope, maximizing the now, and maintaining a sense of humor day by day.
